What for many could mean the end of a career became a new beginning for Tadeu Oliveira. A bus driver in Juiz de Fora, he had one of his legs amputated after a serious motorcycle accident. Some time later, he overcame rehabilitation and returned to work.
Since 2024, Tadeu has been a driver on line 525 (UFJF/Centro), but the path to being able to sit in the driver's seat again required patience and determination.
In addition to adapting to the use of the prosthesis, Tadeu needed to obtain a new National Driving License (CNH) appropriate to his physical conditions.
To take the practical exam, he had to travel to São Paulo to take the test and secure the document, since the service was not offered in Juiz de Fora.
