Retired BSNL Employee Brutally Assaulted by Son in Jaipur, CCTV Captures Attack

A 67-year-old retired BSNL employee was allegedly brutally assaulted by his son in Jaipur, with the attack captured on CCTV. The video, which surfaced Friday, sparked public outrage. The incident took place on June 19 in Maruti Colony, Chandlai, under Sanganer police station limits. The footage shows the accused repeatedly slapping, kicking and punching his father before dragging him into a room. The victim also fell on a staircase during the assault, suffering serious head and facial injuries. The victim, Anandi Lal Ucheniya, alleged in his complaint that his elder son, Dhanpat Ucheniya, attacked him around 8 pm. Tenants rushed to the spot after hearing the commotion, prompting the accused to flee. The victim’s daughter, Sunena, alleged that when she approached Sanganer police station on the night of the incident, police accepted only a written complaint and asked the family to return the next day. The FIR was eventually registered on June 21 after the victim revisited the police station with his daughters. Police said a case has been registered and the investigation is underway. Residents said the father and son had been involved in a domestic dispute before the argument turned violent.
