Rhysida hackers published data from the Berlin Senate, including plans for the apocalypse

Hackers who hacked the Berlin Senate network have made public information about the German government's communication channels in case of an apocalypse.

The hacker group Rhysida published about 1.4 million stolen files of the Berlin Senate on the darknet after the city authorities refused to pay a ransom.

Personal data of employees of the capital's departments and other confidential documents, including construction drawings and instructions in case of emergencies, were also leaked to the network.

BERLIN, September 5 - RIA Novosti. Hackers who hacked the Berlin Senate network and received a refusal from the capital's administration to provide a ransom, made publicly available information about the German government's communication channels in case of an apocalypse, said German investigative journalist Lars Winkelsdorf.

The Metropolitan Administration Office reported on August 17 that the Senate network had been compromised and authorities had launched an investigation.

Later, broadcaster RBB reported that the hacker group Rhysida published about 1.4 million stolen files of the Berlin Senate on the darknet after the city authorities refused to pay a ransom of 2 million euros.

“Not only investigative documents from the state criminal police have appeared on the Internet, but also plans for action in war conditions - even the secret communication channels of the German government in case of the end of the world,” Winkelsdorf said, as quoted by the Bild newspaper.

In addition, a folder from the German authorities, the contents of which are allegedly related to chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear threats, has also become publicly available.
