Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in New York "to prevent a further aggravation of tensions between our countries". Sybiha says so on X. "Following our phone call in July, I met Araghchi on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Diplomacy is based on direct dialogue, even in difficult circumstances. A massive rocket attack on Kiev killed two people and injured at least eight others, causing fires and damage in the Solomianskyi, Podilskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing a post on Facebook by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).
"In the Solomianskyi district, some warehouses were partially destroyed and a fire broke out and spread to the underground rooms. The fire has been put out. Three injured people were hospitalized", reads the note from the DSNS.
Ukrainian air defense forces have neutralized four Zircon missiles, three ballistic missiles and 219 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine as of yesterday evening. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing a post on Telegram by the Ukrainian Air Force. Starting at 6pm yesterday, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using Zircon anti-ship missiles launched from the Kursk, Rostov and Orel regions; Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 ballistic missiles launched from the Kursk and Bryansk regions; and 282 attack UAVs, including jet-propelled drones, Shahed- and Gerbera-type drones, Banderol/Dan-T circuit munitions, and Parodiya-type decoy drones.
The drones were launched from several locations, including Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia; Donetsk (temporarily occupied territory); Hvardiiske and Chauda in Crimea (temporarily occupied territory); as well as from the waters of the Sea of Azov.

Lithuanian authorities know the type of drone the Russians could use against Spain, France or Italy. It would be a Gerbera: about two meters long, with a wingspan of 2.5 meters, weighing up to 18 kilograms, capable of reaching speeds of around 160 kilometers per hour and with a declared autonomy of 600 kilometers.
