Russian forces continue to mop up western Dobropolye, mine area — top brass

MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Russian servicemen continue to mop up Dobropolye’s western neighborhoods and the Donbropolskaya mine area in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Defense Ministry reported.

"Russian servicemen continued to mop up the western neighborhoods of the city and the Donbropolskaya mine area," the statement said.

The 51st Army of Russia’s battlegroup Center has advanced in the central and northwestern parts of Dobropolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Defense Ministry reported.

"The 51st Army has advanced in the central and northwestern parts of Dobropolye in the DPR," the statement said.

Russian servicemen thwarted a Ukrainian attempt to break out of the encirclement near Dobropolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Defense Ministry reported.

"[Russian servicemen] thwarted an enemy attempt to break out of the encirclement using forces of up to a platoon supported by armored vehicles," the statement said.

Russia’s battlegroup Center liberated 137 buildings in Dobropolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and eliminated up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported.

"Over the past 24 hours, [Russian servicemen] liberated 137 buildings, including three industrial facilities, and eliminated up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored vehicles, and a pickup truck [in Dobropolye]," the statement said.
