Russian Military Hits Ukrainian Logistics, Port, and Communications Facilities

MOSCOW, September 27. /TASS/. Russian servicemen hit Ukrainian logistics centers, port infrastructure facilities, and communications centers overnight, the Defense Ministry reported.

"Last night, the Russian Armed Forces continued to carry out drone strikes against logistics centers, port and transport infrastructure facilities, communications centers, and vessels operating on behalf of the Ukrainian military," the statement said.

In particular, the Russian army struck a Vodafone data center in Kiev, which is one of the largest providers of telecommunications and internet services to the Ukrainian military, the ministry stressed.

"[Russian servicemen] hit the Vodafone data center in Kiev, one of the largest providers of mobile communications and high-speed internet services to the Ukrainian military, including the transmission of intelligence data," the statement said.

The Russian army also hit the Zammler Group logistics center in the village of Krasilovka in the Kiev region, where Western military aid for Ukrainian forces was being stored, the ministry noted.

"[The Russian Armed Forces] struck the Zammler Group logistics center in Krasilovka, where Western military aid for the Ukrainian army was stored and distributed," the army said.

In addition, Russian forces targeted the Drone Kalinsh logistics center in Odessa region’s Ilyichovka, where FPV interceptors were stored, the Defense Ministry emphasized.

"[Russian servicemen] hit the Drone Kalinsh logistics center in Ilyichovka, where FPV interceptors were stored," the statement said.

Moreover, the Russian Armed Forces struck the headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy’s Vostok naval base in the port of Kiliya, a Ukrainian State Border Guard Service outpost, and four warehouses with military equipment, the ministry said.

"As a result of the strikes, the following were hit <...> in the port of Kiliya: the headquarters of the Ukrainian Navy’s Vostok naval base, a Ukrainian State Border Guard Service outpost, four warehouses with military equipment intended for the Ukrainian military, and port infrastructure facilities," the Russian miltary noted.

What’s more, the Russian army targeted two warehouses with drones and their combat components in Nikolayev, as well as a dry cargo ship at sea that was delivering military equipment and dual-use cargo to the port of Odessa, the Defense Ministry concluded.
