Russia's decision to protect data centers

Shadayev, in his statement at the committee meeting in the Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, stated that Yandex has been faced with attacks on an unprecedented scale in recent days.

Shadayev pointed out that Yandex's services continue to work despite the attacks, and said that this is the result of the importance the company attaches to backup systems and distributing its infrastructure to different regions.

Stating that efforts to protect the data centers in question are continuing, Şadayev said, "The Ministry of Digital Development is discussing the protection of these facilities together with the Ministry of Defense." he said.
