Sadettin Saran appeared before the judge. "I'm ashamed to be here"

Sadettin Saran argued that the dialogues and correspondence in the file were related to a movie they watched together as a result of the emotional relationship that developed between him and Ela Rümeysa Cebeci.

Saran made the following claims in his defense:

"- In this correspondence, a deer was made saying 'come and come'. It was a joke, a mix of deer. I neither used it nor gave it to anyone, nor did I sell it. Would I write about it if I raised such a thing? It was a complete joke. Although a search was made in my garden and my house, it could not be found. I feel incredibly sad and ashamed to be here.

-I am the child of a civil servant with thousands of employees doing business in 67 countries. As the oldest of four siblings, I tried to set an example for them. I have built 28 gyms in 25 years: in Ağrı, Şırnak, Mardin. I had a school and gym built in my hometown, Kırıkkale. I donated it to my state.

“I SWEAR ON MY DAUGHTER THAT I DID NOT USE OR SELL”

-I swear on my dignity, my honor and my daughter, whom I love more than anything, that I neither used nor sold anything. The Prosecutor said to me, 'We found something and there is a high probability that it will be positive.' And I said, 'Impossible.' I called the helper at my house and said, 'There is something inside the foil, what is it?' He said to me, "We put it there to repel the bees." I was even scared too. But then it turned out to be negative anyway."

"IT MAY BE INFECTED"

When the presiding judge asked about Saran's positive test, Saran gave the following answer:

"I shook hands with at least 50-60 people today. I am a person who likes to shake hands. We also received opinions from experts. It did not show up in my urine anyway. It only came out in my hair. There is a possibility of contamination. I would not lie in front of my daughter."

"We will confirm on Sunday, do you have it?" in the voice recording included in the file. When asked about his statements, Saran said, "We had a pleasant night. There was wine. He drank a little too much. He was a ridiculous deer based on that." expressed his claim.

When asked about the statements between Ela Rümeysa and Saran, such as "Am I Escobar? You pick the branches you grow in the garden" and "Okay, I'll find them", Saran said, "I said yes. Just for the sake of conversation, I said 'As long as you come, we will handle it'. Believe me, there is nothing in the garden. They searched everywhere. I am a man who has never been to the Netherlands and drank." He defended himself with his words.

"I DID NOT SEE DRUGS"

Hasan D., the witness heard, stated that he knew Saadettin Saran and that he knew Ela Rümeysa as much as he saw on social media, and said, "I was in the center of Çanakkale on the day of the incident. Law enforcement called me. I was told that a search would be carried out at Saran's house. Since the house was empty, I went to the summer house. A search was carried out. That's all I know. I did not see anything planted in the garden. We have a business relationship with Saran. I also deal in landscaping. I have the key to the exterior door. "The olives are taken care of, the garden is taken care of. That's why I didn't see any drugs being used in the house." he said.

THE HEARING HAS BEEN POSTPONED

The court decided to remove Saran's obligation to attend the hearings, to hear Ela Rümeysa Cebeci in the next hearing, and to continue the judicial control measures such as a ban on traveling abroad. The hearing was postponed to November 4.
