Truck and Light Commercial Vehicle Collided on the Highway in Sarıyer: 3 People, Including a Child, Lost Their Lives

In the accident in which a truck and a light commercial vehicle collided in the Uskumruköy area of ​​Sarıyer Northern Marmara Highway, 3 people, including a child, died and 5 people were injured. After receiving first aid at the scene, the injured were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The long vehicle queues that formed after the accident and the work of the teams were viewed from the air. The accident occurred at noon at Uskumruköy location on the Northern Marmara Highway. According to the information obtained, a truck and a light commercial vehicle traveling on the highway collided for an unknown reason.

In the accident, 8 people were injured in the vehicles that were thrown due to the impact. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, fire brigade, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that 3 people, including 1 child, lost their lives. The 5 injured, whose first aid was provided at the scene, were taken to surrounding hospitals by ambulance and treated.

Some lanes of the highway were closed to traffic due to the accident. While gendarmerie teams were taking security measures in the surrounding area, a queue of vehicles stretching for meters formed on the highway. While the vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene, the gendarmerie's investigation into the accident continues.
