Shocking moment in DFB training: Nico Schlotterbeck injured

The shocking moment involving Nico Schlotterbeck happened during the lively warm-up competition between the national soccer players at the beginning of the final training session. Suddenly, Borussia Dortmund's defender was on the ground with his hands in front of his face. That didn't look good at all.

National coach Jürgen Klopp looked worriedly at the BVB captain before the Nations League game against Serbia on Thursday (8.45 p.m./ZDF) in Munich. The medical department ran onto the pitch and took care of the 26-year-old, who, according to the DFB, was taken straight to the MRI for a detailed examination of his right ankle.
