A USB strike for railway transport staff has been scheduled from 9am to 4.59pm today.
Trenitalia reminds you that trains may be subject to cancellations or variations and that for Trenitalia, Trenitalia Tper and Trenord regional transport, the essential services provided in the event of a strike are guaranteed on weekdays from 6:00 to 9:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00.

The strike may lead to changes to the service even before the start and after its conclusion.
Passengers who intend to cancel the trip can request a refund starting from the declaration of strike up to the departure time of the booked train, for Intercity and Frecce trains and up to midnight of the day before the strike itself, for Regional trains.
Alternatively they can reschedule the trip, under similar transport conditions, as soon as possible, subject to seat availability.
Trenitalia, taking into account the possible repercussions on the service, invites passengers to inform themselves before going to the station.

In Bologna delays and cancellations on regional lines
There are delays and some cancellations of regional trains in Bologna and on the Emilia-Romagna lines, due to the strike of railway staff proclaimed by the basic unions Sgb and Cub until 9pm this evening to ask for the renewal of the contract.
The inconveniences, in particular, began after 9am given that the first guarantee period for essential services is foreseen until that time, while the second will be from 6pm to 9pm, to protect commuter workers.
The canceled trains at the moment are mainly on the Porretta-Pianoro route, but cancellations due to the strike also concern some trains heading to Veneto (Venice Santa Lucia) and Tuscany (Prato Centrale).
The situation is also causing delays, which at the moment are however limited.
Trains canceled in the Central Station in Milan
The national strike called by some independent trade unions (Cat, Sgb and Cub) and started yesterday evening, which will affect the staff of the Fs Italiane group until 9pm today, is also underway in Milan.

At 10am there were 12 canceled arrivals and 13 departures, in various directions.
