National train strike: inconvenience for the Fs Italiane group and Trenitalia

Some independent trade unions (CAT, SGB and Cub) have proclaimed a national strike which will affect the staff of the Fs Italiane group, from 9.18pm today to 9pm tomorrow, 8 September. The effects, in terms of cancellations and delays, could occur even before and last beyond the end time of the industrial action.

Ferrovie has made it known that for regional transport the essential services provided in the event of a strike on weekdays are guaranteed: from 6am to 9am and from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday 8 September. A USB strike also for the railway sector has been proclaimed for tomorrow from 9am to 4.59pm.

Trenitalia, taking into account the possible repercussions on the service, invites passengers to inform themselves before going to the station.
