Four Races, Four Podiums: One Last Step to the Historic Championship

Escaped: It Was A Dream Four Years Ago, Now We Are At The Final Turn
Making evaluations after the race, Seda Kaçan expressed her feelings about the championship journey with the following words: "We set a very clear goal for ourselves at the beginning of this season: to become the Turkish Track Champion. This weekend, we got one step closer to that goal with two pole positions and four podiums in four races. But for me, this does not mean just a championship fight. When I started racing on Turkish tracks four years ago, there was no female champion who had walked this path in front of me. Today, we are closer than ever to changing that story. We did not come to this point easily. "We fought through every corner and every difficulty in the race. I thank my team and my supporters who were with me on this journey. Now we have one last race weekend ahead of us and we have many more stories to write."

From the First Woman to Hit the Tracks in 30 Years to the Target of Turkish Championship
Seda Kaçan's story tells much more than just a championship fight. Kaçan, who started her motor sports career at the age of 27, attracted attention as the first female pilot to compete in the Turkish Track Championship after 30 years in 2022. A year later, in 2023, she made history as the first female pilot to win a race in the Turkish Track Championship. In the same year, she represented Türkiye on international tracks and became the first female pilot to stand on the podium and wave the Turkish flag. In 2024, she won the DSG championship in the European Endurance Series and became the first Turkish female pilot to become a European champion.
Kaçan, who achieved historical firsts one after another on Turkish and European tracks for four years, is now focused on one of the biggest goals of her career: to become the first female pilot to become the Turkish Track Champion. Kaçan, which is at the top of the championship with its performance throughout the 2026 season, will fight to crown this historical journey with the Turkish Championship in the final leg.
