National team statement from Şenol Güneş: Let the coach be Turkish!

Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş will face each other in the big match tonight in the Trendyol Super League. Şenol Güneş, who is the coach of both teams, made evaluations about the match and also answered a question about his position as the coach of the National Team.

Güneş, who attended an event organized by Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, said the following about the Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match in the Super League;

"I look at the Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match impartially. Trabzonspor is playing on its field, so I see it as more advantageous. I know it will be a good match."

"How do you think about having a foreign coach at the head of the National Team?" Şenol Günel answered the question as follows: "Speaking emotionally, both the player and the coach should be Turkish.
