The fourth day of the 2026/27 Serie A championship continues. After yesterday's victory for Fiorentina, who beat Venezia 4-2 away, today Genoa-Frosinone ended 1-1. There was also a draw for Lazio-Milan, which ended 2-2, while Atalanta lost at home against Cagliari 1-2 (SERIE A HIGHLIGHTS). Three more matches will be played tomorrow: Lecce-Monza, Napoli-Bologna and Sassuolo-Juventus. Finally, the day will end on Monday with Turin-Roma, Como-Parma and Inter-Udinese.

The chronicle of Atalanta-Cagliari (HIGHLIGHTS)

In Bergamo the hosts immediately threatened with Scamacca, but Cagliari broke the deadlock in the 19th minute with a goal from Mendy (aided by the crossbar). Just before the half hour mark Carnesecchi says no to Maldini. In the 41st minute Atalanta equalized thanks to a goal from Scamacca who took advantage of a deflection from Obert. The news of Lazio-Milan (THE HIGHLIGHTS)

An immediate chance for Milan: Chukwueze's header saved by Mandas. Maignan says no to Zaccagni and Noslin. In the 10th minute the hosts broke the deadlock with Cancellieri. The news of Genoa-Frosinone (HIGHLIGHTS)

The challenge at the Ferraris begins uphill for Genoa who, after a goal disallowed by Baldanzi for offside, find themselves behind after a quarter of an hour: Kvernadze scores for Frosinone following an assist from Schmid. Before the break De Rossi's team had a penalty kick in their favor - after the first intervention of the season by the On Field Review with VAR - but Colombo kicked out.
