104 thousand 771 young people stayed free of charge in the Traveler Project

According to the statement of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Traveler Project, which was implemented to support young people to get to know different cities of Türkiye, meet new cultures and gain travel experience, attracted great attention this year as well.

Within the scope of the project, one girls' and one boys' dormitories in 81 provinces of Türkiye were opened to the use of young people between 6 July and 21 August 2026. Young people had the opportunity to discover Türkiye's historical and cultural heritage and natural beauties by staying in GSB dormitories for free for up to 5 days.

In the summer of 2026, 104 thousand 771 young people stayed in the dormitories of the Ministry of Youth and Sports free of charge. Within the scope of the Traveler Project, which started to be implemented in 2022, a total of 628 thousand 241 young people have benefited from the ministry dormitories so far.
