MPF Superior Council evaluates investigation into mentions of Paulo Gonet in banker messages

The Superior Council of the Federal Public Ministry analyzes this Friday (25) whether there are elements to deepen the investigation into mentions of the Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, in messages from banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master and arrested for financial crimes. The body will decide whether to archive the procedure or continue the investigation.

The analysis takes place amidst the stress caused by the publication of a photo of Gonet with Vorcaro at a party in London. The PGR states that it did not have a close relationship with the banker and classified the contact between the two as “very brief and banal”.
