The hacker group Shiny Hunters announced the hacking of FBI services and access to employee data.

The hacker group Shiny Hunters claims to have hacked several FBI-related services and gained access to the data of all agency employees.

The group provided the 404 Media portal with a sample of data allegedly containing personal information about five thousand FBI employees.

Shiny Hunters hacked the FBI job site and posted a message on it about the seizure of the resource, after which the application portal became unavailable.

WASHINGTON, September 22 - RIA Novosti. A hacker group called Shiny Hunters claims to have hacked several FBI-related services and gained access to the data of all agency employees.

“We hacked the FBI. We have data on all FBI employees and candidates for work in the department,” a representative of the group told the 404 Media portal.

The hacker also provided the portal with a sample of data that allegedly contains personal information about five thousand FBI employees. It included prospective addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth and, in some cases, information about the employees' spouses.

404 Media partially confirmed the authenticity of the data: some phone numbers matched the data of the people indicated in the file, and some of the numbers turned out to be associated with employees of the US Department of Justice.
