WHO IS ŞİNASI CANDAN?

Şinasi Candan was born in 1968 in Suşehri district of Sivas. He completed his university education at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration and graduated in 1989.

ŞİNASI CANDAN CAREER

Şinasi Candan started his public service in 1990 as an assistant accountant at the Ministry of Finance. He worked as an accountant between 1993 and 1997, as head of the Hittite Tax Office between 1997 and 2000, and as a chief accountant between 2001 and 2003. He served as head of department at the General Directorate of Revenue between 2003 and 2005, and as head of department at the Revenue Administration between 2005 and 2006. Candan, who served as the Head of Ankara Tax Office in 2006-2010, served as the Deputy Head of the Revenue Administration in 2010-2016 and the Deputy Head of the Public Procurement Board in 2016-2020. He worked as a ministerial advisor at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in the 2020-2021 period. He was appointed as the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Supply Office by the Presidential Decree No. 2023/446 dated October 7, 2023. According to the appointment information published in the Official Gazette, he became the Head of Revenue Administration on October 20, 2026.
