I would like to express my gratitude to our institutions and their employees who fought the disaster with all their heart.
Although it is accepted that the rainfall is extraordinary, it is obvious that the infrastructure and zoning discipline are decisive in the situation. The disaster has once again revealed how important it is to be prepared for disasters through planning, risk management and preventive measures. Combating disasters should be considered as a strategic public policy that includes all public institutions, local governments, scientific circles and society. It should be based on minimizing the damages of natural disasters, from local elections to the transformation of risky areas and reclamation projects. I believe that the damage suffered by our citizens affected by the disaster will be compensated immediately and the necessary measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring. I pray that God will protect our country and nation from all kinds of disasters and calamities.
FUND INVESTIGATION
My dear fellow defendants, since last week, both the fund investigation and the judicial processes regarding corruption in municipalities, especially the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, have been continuing. The effectiveness of policies aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and price stability depends on the healthy functioning of the financial system. The development of capital markets requires the markets to reach sufficient depth, the spread of capital to the base, and also the coordination of supervision and control functions to ensure the stable functioning of all financial markets. From the developments regarding the fund investigation, it is understood that illegal activities targeting the stability of the Turkish economy are carried out in an organized manner through market-distorting transactions, manipulation, fraud and abuse of trust. "TURKISH ECONOMY IS ON SOLID FOUNDATIONS"

Starting from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and extending to many municipalities, all kinds of relationships of interest in areas such as tenders, zoning, licenses, real estate, participation, personnel and public expenditures are not only a problem concerning criminal law, but also a moral poverty. While the trial processes are ongoing, it will be for the benefit of those concerned to respond to the allegations on legal grounds, instead of creating a personal agenda with political polemics. "FREEDOM OF THE PRESS IS NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE FREEDOM TO COMMIT CRIME"
Another issue within the scope of investigations is about press freedom debates. We believe that free press is one of the indispensable elements of democratic societies and that the media should freely fulfill its duty to inform the public. However, we think that responsibility is as valuable as freedom and law is as valuable as ratings. Freedom of the press is not, and should not be, freedom to commit crimes. As a matter of fact, media organizations, like all other institutions, are responsible before the law. The main thing is not to fall into lawlessness that condones illegal actions while defending freedom of the press. Because if freedom of the press is the guarantee of democracy, adherence to law and ethical responsibility are the basic foundations of this freedom.
In an environment where Türkiye stands out with its economic, political and diplomatic successes, where the goals of a Terror-free Turkey and a terrorist-free region have become reality and where lawlessness is being addressed, any attempt to sabotage the climate of peace and security is unacceptable. The perception attempted to be created through social media and the provocations made through FETO accounts should not be relied upon and action should be taken in line with official statements. Attempts to confront Türkiye with social reactions based on insecurity must be prevented.
Dear members of parliament, it is the seat of Allah, the All-Knowing, that encompasses the worlds, and the gate of knowledge that brings good news of peace and abundance to humanity and gives order and justice to the world. The door of knowledge opens to the level of perfection, which raises a person with his mental and spiritual qualities, tempers his soul with his conscience, and counters his ambitions with his common sense. Yunus Emre, who did not even let crooked wood into his lodge on the path of knowledge, said, "Knowledge is knowing knowledge, knowledge is knowing yourself. If you don't know yourself, how much reading is this?" With his verses, he stated that the way to become a perfect human being is to first know yourself. Knowing oneself means breaking the mirror of arrogance and knowing one's helplessness in the face of the Lord, measuring one's words, and keeping one's pen in line, order, and end. Knowing oneself means being able to determine one's direction in the ocean of knowledge with the compass of wisdom, and being able to surrender to God with sincerity. To know oneself is to say the word directly like the elif in the mortal world where it comes in the state of woe, and to bow like a mime in the face of the truth. The holy walk of the Turk, which started with the Mountains of God, passed through the door of knowledge in Khorasan, reached the rank of sainthood, and by taking root in Söğüt, lived and kept alive the most perfect age of Islamic civilization. At this point, it is a national responsibility to ensure that historical actors are placed in their place in the flow of history and that historical events are free from romantic feelings and turned into lessons and achievements. This responsibility is not to look at history through harmful ideas and myopic glasses, but to trace the truth in the history book that is often blackened by populist politics with ideological debates. Otherwise, it will be inevitable to be faced with fragmented selves, schizophrenic identities and a divided society.

In the shadow play where MHP hostility is exhibited, those who speak, write and draw with the claim of being Turkish nationalists satisfy their political ambitions, intellectual crises and personal ambitions by selling their words and pens. Those who make the national sensitivities of the Turkish youth a subject of bargaining in secluded corners will certainly receive their share of the anger of the Turkish youth when their miserable games become obvious. I'm asking here. Those who are looking for a table to sit at for their political success, and those who serve the holy grail of nationalism as appetizers at the tables they sit at, what and where are you a nationalist? For this reason, we are obliged to act in accordance with a comprehensive vision of the future that goes beyond daily discussions as a nation and combines reason, morality, state experience and national will. Our strategic goal is the construction of Türkiye, a leading country and superpower. It is our common responsibility to create a suitable capacity with all its elements. Nothing on three legs in Kutadgu Bilig leans to one side. As long as all three stand straight, the throne will not shake. These expressions summarize the basis of our understanding of the state. Today, it is imperative to establish this balance through the legislature, executive and judiciary, and to reconcile it with the rule of law, strong institutional capacity, social solidarity and economic stability. The goal of a terrorism-free Türkiye is one of the most important topics of this great vision of the future. In this process, reason is as important as determination, law is as important as security, social consensus and trust are as important as state authority. Armed structures that continue to exist beyond our borders also threaten Türkiye's security to the extent that they disrupt the stability of neighboring countries.
