According to the legal community on the 8th, Judge Shin Seung-ah of the Eastern Branch of the Busan District Court ruled in a damages lawsuit filed by victim A and her mother B against Mr. C, a man in his 30s, that "Mr. C must pay 10 million won to Ms. A and 3 million won to Mr. B."

According to the ruling, in mid-November of last year, Mr. C saw Ms. A's post on social media and contacted her via messenger and exchanged messages.

Mr. C stopped his car in front of the main gate of an apartment in Busan at around 2:10 am on the 19th of the same month and committed adultery with Miss A, who was 14 years old at the time, in the backseat of the car.

Mr. C was handed over to trial on charges of 'involuntary rape of a minor' and sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison and 4 years of probation last April.

Mr. C appealed, but it was dismissed and the sentence was confirmed.

Rape of a minor is a crime in which a person who commits adultery without the child's consent is punished as if it were rape in order to protect children and adolescents.

Judge Shin said, "It appears that there will be a significant negative impact on Miss A's future emotional development and the formation of sound sexual values," and that "It appears that Miss A's mother has also suffered considerable mental pain due to the criminal act against her young child."

However, considering that Mr. C paid 7 million won as part of mental damages during the first trial of the criminal trial, the additional alimony was set at 10 million won for Ms. A and 3 million won for Mr. B.
