BREAKING NEWS | Official statement from Fenerbahçe: Marco Asensio will have surgery! Here is the date of return to the field...

Oğuz Çetin: "In a football environment where expectations and competition are so high, our President Aziz Yıldırım works 24/7 together with our managers to meet the expectations of our fans. Likewise, our coach İsmail Kartal reinforces their unity with our group of players, who make up the 28-person squad, in a spirit of teamwork and with a high level of belonging. Our president said, 'I do not want to experience the Alex incident again.' "The emphasis has been carried out with great sensitivity by both İsmail Kartal, the players and us since the first day, and has been reinforced with high communication within the team."

"There may be many attempts, especially by internal and external evildoers, to create unrest within the team and to disrupt the harmony within the team. There may be many statements, writings and drawings. In particular, they are trying to make it seem like there is a big problem between İsmail Hodja and Marco Asensio. These definitely do not reflect the truth."
