A car crashed into the back of a taxi in Kağıthane, on the TEM Highway leading to Ankara, around 01:00. After the crash, the taxi crashed into the barriers and stopped, while the car got stuck between the barriers. The car driver and two people in the vehicle were injured in the accident, and the taxi driver left the scene without being injured. The seriously injured car driver died after being taken to hospital. After the accident, two lanes in Ankara direction were closed to traffic, and traffic was reopened after cleaning and rescue operations were completed.
