STF cancels this Thursday's trial session

The presidency of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) canceled the trial session scheduled for this Thursday (10).

It is the second cancellation this week. The cancellation of this week's plenary session occurs at a time of strong institutional crisis in the Court.

"Bearing in mind that the session scheduled for today is extraordinary, just as the session called for next Tuesday is extraordinary, the cancellation of today's session is hereby announced. Tuesday's session will be held under the terms of the call already carried out", says a statement from the presidency of the STF this Thursday.

At the session, ministers will discuss the validity of the PF report. The document was criticized by some Court ministers. In their assessment, Mendonça asked to investigate a colleague without authorization from the plenary.

The ministers will also decide on the nullity request of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) and must define whether an investigation against Moraes will be opened or closed.
