The updated Supercam S180 reconnaissance drone will be able to create and quickly transmit to the operator a digital map of the enemy’s rear areas. This was announced by the official representative of the Unmanned Systems group of companies Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, TASS reports.

It is noted that the new version of the high-speed drone can transmit to the command a detailed map of the area before landing. “Such a digital terrain map can be used for various purposes, for example, for deep reconnaissance in the rear, detection of camouflaged objects, assessment of roads and bridges, detection of new trenches, fortifications, warehouses,” Zgirovskaya said during the ADEX 2026 exhibition in Baku.

According to her, the data collected by the Russian S180 complex can become a more efficient alternative to satellite reconnaissance. A spokeswoman for Unmanned Systems added that the photography speed is automatically adjusted depending on the speed of the drone. The image is transmitted to the ground control station in real time.
