In the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that efforts are continuing to repair the damage caused to the East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh-Medina region, which was targeted with multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and it was emphasized that the attack that caused injuries and damage was condemned in the strongest terms.

In the statement, it was stated that Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi wanted the Iraqi government to be given the opportunity to take measures to prevent attacks from his country against Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.

It was noted in the statement that Saudi Arabia preferred not to respond to this request and to support the efforts of the Iraqi government, and it was emphasized that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, facilities and citizens.

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy announced that the East-West oil pipeline was closed as a precaution after it was attacked with UAVs on September 10 and injuries occurred.

He stated that he strongly condemned the attacks.

Budeyvi emphasized that the attack in question constitutes an unacceptable threat to the security, territorial integrity and infrastructure of Saudi Arabia.

Referring to the importance of the Iraqi government making more efforts to prevent the use of the country's territory in such attacks, Budeyvi stated that the security and stability of the region will be preserved and tensions will not rise further.
