Tanker Specialist Sergeant Coşkun Sevim was sent off to his final journey in Elazığ

Tanker Specialist Sergeant Coşkun Sevim, who was on duty in the Olive Branch Operation Zone, fell ill while on duty. After the first intervention, Sevim was taken to Azez Vatan Hospital.

Sevim, who was transferred from here to Kilis State Hospital, could not be saved despite the intervention of doctors. The martyr's body was brought to Gaziantep Airport from Kilis by land yesterday, and after the ceremony, it was sent to his hometown Elazığ by military plane.

A ceremony was held for Martyr Sevim at İmam-ı Azam Mosque. Governor Numan Hatipoğlu, Deputy Minister of Justice Abdullah Aydoğdu, MHP Elazığ Deputy Semih Işıkver, Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları, 8th Corps Commander Major General Ümit Durmaz, Elazığ Chief Public Prosecutor Aşkın Yeğin, Fırat University Rector Prof. attended the ceremony. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, Provincial Police Chief Aydın Karan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Alpaslan Doğan and the martyr's family and relatives attended.

The family and relatives of martyr Sevim, whose body was wrapped in a Turkish flag and placed on a catafalque, shed tears. After the Friday prayer, the funeral prayer was performed and prayers were made by Provincial Mufti Yusuf Bingöl. After the prayer, the coffin of martyr Sevim was put on the gun carriage by the soldiers. The body of Coşkun Sevim, who was taken to the hearse accompanied by a cortege, was taken to Elazığ Garrison Martyrdom and buried with prayers.
