'Terror-free Türkiye' and Monitoring Commission Statement from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Kurtulmuş

Stating that a monitoring commission will be established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Speaker Kurtulmuş said that the law will not be implemented until it is confirmed that the arms have been laid down.

Highlights from the statements of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Kurtulmuş, are as follows: It is the construction of the path to a terrorism-free Türkiye. We will see a Türkiye completely free from terrorism. Türkiye without terrorism is not a wish, it is slowly becoming flesh and bones. Türkiye without terrorism is reflected on the field. The developments in Iraq and Syria are proof of this. With the opening of the parliament, the monitoring commission will be established quickly and will fulfill its responsibility in monitoring the process.

The Parliament has three responsibilities. To follow up the issue in the most serious way, to monitor this process within the scope of the law and to make new regulations if necessary. There is no alien third eye. The third eye is the nation itself. It was worked with great care. This law was implemented with great support. This law will be implemented with the announcement of the dissolution and disarmament process of the organization. This is the first insurance. The Monitoring Commission to be established within the Turkish Grand National Assembly to monitor these processes on behalf of the nation. There will be a guarantee of the process.
