The General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will discuss the Turkish Red Crescent Law Proposal

The General Assembly, which will start its weekly work on Tuesday, October 6, will discuss the Turkish Red Crescent Law Proposal.

With the proposal, the Turkish Red Crescent will be the only authorized institution for the receipt and use of in-kind and cash aid coming to Türkiye from the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies, the International Red Cross Committee and the Red Crescent and Red Cross National Societies of the countries in ordinary or extraordinary situations.

Cash compensation will also be paid to the personnel who actually work in the activity area to carry out the activities of the Turkish Red Crescent Society during extraordinary periods and times of disaster, war and conflict.

In the provinces and districts where Red Crescent branches and representatives are located, the Red Crescent provincial central branch president and district branch heads will also be members of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation board of trustees.

Karahan will make a presentation on October 6

Fatih Karahan, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), will make a presentation at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Planning and Budget Commission on October 6.

Karahan is expected to make a comprehensive presentation at the meeting within the framework of global developments, Turkish economy, inflation and monetary policy.

The Public Works, Zoning, Transport and Tourism Commission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will also meet to discuss the Foreign Digital Accommodation Platforms Law Proposal.

Group meetings of political parties that have groups in the Parliament will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
