'Vacancy Tracking Button' and Digital Transformation Steps from TCDD Transportation

In his written statement, Uraloğlu gave information about the "Vacancy Tracking Button" feature implemented by TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ.

Stating that a new one has been added to TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ's digital transformation efforts, Uraloğlu said, "The 'Vacancy Tracking Button' feature has been implemented, which allows passengers who cannot find a ticket on the trains to be automatically informed if a seat is opened for refund, cancellation or other reasons." he said.

Uraloğlu pointed out that with the new application, passengers who cannot find a ticket can create a warning request for the train they want to travel on. Pointing out the advantages provided by the application in question, Uraloğlu made the following evaluations:

"Our passengers who cannot find tickets with the application will define their e-mail addresses on the system for trains and will not need to constantly check the ticket sales screen. We ensure that our passengers are instantly informed in case of availability of seats for refunds, cancellations or other reasons, and can easily purchase their tickets. We continue to make the lives of our citizens easier and travel planning more accessible by using digital opportunities." made his assessment.

Digital access to tickets and invoices

Uraloğlu reminded that within the scope of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ's e-document transformation studies, e-ticket and e-invoice applications have been implemented as of September 1, 2026, and stated that with the e-Ticket application, passengers can access their e-tickets through the link in the PDF document in the "Journey Information" e-mail sent to them after purchasing the ticket.

Stating that customers who benefit from transportation services with the e-Invoice application can access their invoices digitally, Uraloğlu said:

"The application provides time and cost advantages in invoice creation, transmission and archiving processes. By reducing the need for paper, printing and physical archiving, we both reduce our costs and contribute to the more efficient use of natural resources. Our goal is to make our railway services accessible to our citizens from anywhere, at any time, and make transactions faster, easier, more efficient and environmentally friendly by making more use of digital opportunities. In this context, approximately 286 thousand e-tickets and 1554 e-invoices were issued in the first 4 days."
