TEKNOFEST started in Mavi Vatan Gölcük

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, of which Anadolu Agency (AA) is the Global Communication Partner, is organized at Gölcük Shipyard Command under the main leadership of the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation).

Participants show great interest in the first day of "TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland", which will demonstrate Türkiye's maritime power, independence and national defense capabilities. Those who wanted to see the Turkish defense industry products on site came to Gölcük Shipyard Command from the early hours of the morning.

As part of the event, the Sailing Competitions to be organized by the Naval Forces Command for 4 days also attracted great interest from the participants.

The Tug of War Competition is the first to be held within the scope of Sailing Competitions, which reflect the essence of maritime tradition and showcase courage, team spirit and sailor discipline.

The competition, where power, coordination and strategy come together, was attended by the Naval Academy Command, Southern Sea Area Command, Warfare Fleet Command, Amphibious Task Group Command, Ministry of National Defense Istanbul Shipyard Command, Naval Air Command, Northern Sea Area Command, Submarine Fleet Command, Naval Education and Training Command, Ministry of National Defense Izmir Shipyard Command, Ministry of National Defense Gölcük Shipyard Command, Mine Fleet Command, Logistics Support Task Group Command, Naval Technical Command. Command, Naval Petty Officer Vocational School Command teams are participating.

Teams put forth their strength to pull the 90-meter rope with 3 twists to their side.

The competitions will also be held on 21, 22 and 23 August.
