Tiffany Joncour removed from the head of the RN in the Rhône, Pierre Costantino appointed

The RN deputy for the 13th constituency of Rhône was dismissed Monday evening by the Parisian leadership of the party. She had been in office since 2023.

The former boss of the RN in the Rhône, in office since 2023, was dismissed due to tensions linked to the conviction of her husband last month. What Pierre Costantino, whom we contacted, did not want to comment on.

15 months in prison

On August 26, Maxime Gaucher, a far-right activist on file S, received a fifteen-month prison sentence for premeditated violence and repeated death threats against Tim Bouzon, metropolitan councilor and parliamentary attaché to the MP.

A week before, he had traveled more than 500 kilometers, after coming across a message sent to his wife's cell phone, to go to Sarthe where Tim Bouzon was on vacation. The latter, suspected of having an affair with Tiffany Joncour, was attacked in Sarthe on the night of August 19 to 20 while he was jogging. He was prescribed 5 days of ITT.

Focus on the presidential election

“We needed someone from outside to ease tensions and allow everyone to find their place. Pierre Costantino has a wise profile who can fulfill this mission,” Andréa Kotarac, spokesperson for the far-right party and president of the RN group in the region, told AFP.

Inducted number 1 of the RN in the Rhône, the 32-year-old now wants to “focus on the 2027 Presidential election” to “get Marine Le Pen elected”.
