Found dead on a construction site in Padua: 51-year-old fell into the elevator shaft

A 51-year-old of Albanian origins was found dead last night in a construction site in via Goito in Padua, where renovation work is underway on a building. The man, owner of a company in the Vicenza area specializing in masonry, apparently fell into the lift shaft and died following the fall.

The police officers from the Padua police station found the body, having entered the structure last night, after the alarm raised by the family. The man, in fact, had not heard from him since early afternoon and his van had remained parked not far from the building with the bed still open. Once inside, the officers made the 51-year-old's cell phone ring, thus reaching the elevator shaft and finding the man lifeless. The 118 and fire brigade personnel intervened on site, as well as the agents of the Padua Flying Squad and the Scientific Police.
