Trump emphasized that he would have reacted differently if he were the British royal family. "If I were part of the royal family, I wouldn't have taken him back," he continued.

Harry and Meghan returned to Great Britain last week after more than six years since leaving the royal family. According to information from the dpa news agency, a longer stay rather than a permanent move is planned. “I’m glad they’re gone,” Trump continued. He wasn't a fan of either of them.

In recent years, Harry has repeatedly stated that he does not want to bring his family to the UK due to security concerns. In 2025, the Court of Appeal rejected his appeal against a Home Office decision that he and his family would no longer automatically receive the same security status as the rest of the royals when traveling to Britain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex broke away from their royal duties at the beginning of 2020 and moved to Montecito, California.
