Trump announced that Russia will supply millions of tons of diesel fuel to the US and global markets

Trump shared a post about his meeting with Putin on his Truth Social account.

In the post, Trump stated that the meeting was "extremely successful" and said, "It was agreed that Russia would immediately supply over 300 thousand tons of diesel fuel to the American and global markets, an additional 500 thousand tons during November, and 1 million tons immediately afterwards." he said.

Trump noted that Russia will additionally deliver 3 million tons of diesel fuel in a short time, depending on the condition of its diesel refineries.

Claiming that he has "full control" over the Strait of Hormuz, Trump claimed that with the impact of this announcement regarding Russian energy, diesel prices in the USA and the world will drop rapidly to record low levels.

Trump emphasized that lower prices are a priority, especially for American farmers, ranchers and shippers.

Underlining that this is an important announcement, Trump also noted that Iran will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

US Treasury Department to issue temporary license

On the other hand, in the statement made by the US Treasury Department on the social media platform of US-based company X, it was reported that a temporary general license will be issued immediately to allow the supply of Russian diesel to the global market.

"Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is immediately issuing a temporary general license to allow the supply of Russian diesel to the global market," the statement said. The statement was included.
