Trump's Statements on Iran and North Korea

US President Trump made statements regarding the agenda at the helipad under construction in the garden of the White House.

Trump said, "Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. Do you know why? Because they would use it. We will not let them use it." he said.

On the other hand, the US President, repeating his statement that they control the Strait of Hormuz, said, "People are finding alternatives to Hormuz. You know the alternatives: Texas, Alaska, Louisiana. People are coming to the USA for oil." he said.

Referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in his statements, Trump said, "It is a good thing that I get along well with Kim Jong Un. He has 57 very powerful nuclear weapons."

This should never have been allowed to happen, but he has the guns. I get along just fine with him. I know Kim Jong Un very well. Everything will be fine." he said.

"HORUZ WILL NOT BE AS IMPORTANT AS IN THE PAST"

US President Donald Trump stated that he thinks the Strait of Hormuz will not be as important as it used to be due to alternative routes and newly laid pipelines.

US President Trump evaluated the agenda with members of the press before his meeting with executives of cryptocurrency companies at the White House.

Stating that they are preparing for new sanctions against Iran and that they will be strong, Trump did not give clear information about when the sanctions will be implemented.

Claiming that the Strait of Hormuz is completely controlled by the US Navy, Trump stated that only ships approved by them can use the Strait and that a significant amount of oil is delivered to the world this way.

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said, "People have found other alternatives that they had never considered before. Texas, Alaska, Louisiana and other places. In addition, a record number of pipelines are being built. So I think the Strait of Hormuz will not be as important as it used to be." made his assessment.

On the other hand, Trump stated at the same press conference that he had a good relationship with North Korea and that he no longer saw the need for massive joint military exercises with South Korea.

"Kim Jong-un didn't like (Barack) Obama and (Joe) Biden, but we get along well." Trump said, emphasizing that they had no problems with Pyongyang during his presidency.

"I don't like that we're doing these massive military exercises against North Korea. We were doing a massive war exercise. Frankly, I think it's very insulting to a country that's treated us pretty well so far," Trump said. he said.

Stating that South Korea refused to help them in the war with Iran, Trump expressed that he did not like this at all.
