Trump targeted Zelenskiy: I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president

Trump made evaluations about Ukrainian President Zelenskiy in his press statement to journalists before leaving the White House.

Reminding Zelenskiy's criticism about the agreement between the USA and Russia on diesel fuel, Trump said: "He (Zelenskiy) said, 'You can do whatever you want against Russia, but don't hit the refineries because this is an issue that causes global problems.' we said. He wants to cause trouble to the world. He goes and shoots diesel fuel. It must definitely stop." he said. Trump accused Zelenskiy of not being willing to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, saying, "I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president." he said.

President Trump responded to a journalist's question, "What would you advise suffering Ukrainians to do?" "I suggest that they (Ukrainians) find a new leader who can make agreements, because actually he could make many agreements, but for some reason he doesn't make any." he replied. Trump said, "This war started because of incompetence. It should never have started. You wouldn't have lost 30 percent of your country. You lost 30 percent of your country and more than 1 million people died. More than 2 million people died in total on both sides." he said.

HE COMMENTED ABOUT THE NOBEL PRIZE

On the other hand, Trump stated that he had never known South African lawyer Navanethem Navi Pillay, who received the Nobel Peace Prize, and that the only reason for him receiving the award could be his "anti-Israel attitude".

Trump said, "I actually ended 8 wars that had flared up, yet they gave the Nobel Prize to someone no one had even heard of. I had never heard of him before. No one I knew had ever heard of him. All we know is, I think he has an anti-Israel attitude." he said. Navi Pillay, who attended the event held at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, the capital of Norway, via video conference, stated that the US decision to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) was "unacceptable".
