Education level also stands out as one of the main factors affecting usage habits. While the usage rate among higher education graduates is 62.7 percent, this rate drops to 8.5 percent among primary school graduates.
The difference in usage between genders remains at a very limited level. According to 2026 data, 38.1 percent of women and 37.2 percent of men state that they benefit from productive artificial intelligence tools.

The use of artificial intelligence in startups is also increasing in parallel with individual use. The rate of startups using artificial intelligence technologies, which was 7.5 percent in 2025, increased to 14 percent in 2026.
When looked at on a sectoral basis, telecommunication and IT activities are at the top of the list with 63.7 percent. Publishing and content activities follow this field closely with 57.1 percent.
Companies prefer to use artificial intelligence mostly in marketing and sales processes. 51 percent of startups use this technology in sales-oriented activities, and 46.3 percent in R&D activities.
The majority of businesses use open source software to access artificial intelligence solutions. Open source use stands out as the most common method with 67.8 percent.
The biggest obstacle that companies face in transitioning to artificial intelligence is stated to be the lack of expertise. 72.3 percent of startups that have not yet used this technology see the lack of personnel with the necessary technical knowledge as the main problem.
Legal uncertainties, data security concerns and high costs are among other important obstacles for companies. The rate of startups planning to use artificial intelligence in the future is 8.3 percent.
