Huge Transfer from Türksat 3A to New Generation Satellites Successfully Completed

Broadcast transfer from Türksat 3A satellite to new generation satellites was completed successfully. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the operation was uninterrupted and successful. 573 TV and 215 radio channels were moved to new satellites. Viewers will be able to watch broadcasts without making any changes to their satellite dish settings. Since the new generation satellites are in the same orbital position, viewers do not need to install a new satellite antenna or make any changes to the direction and settings of their existing antennas. The channel list will be updated automatically on TKGS supported devices. Digital platform users will not need to take any action. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said, 'It was our biggest priority that our citizens' television enjoyment was not affected in the slightest by this process. Since our new generation satellites, which transmit broadcasts, are at the same orbital angle in space, our viewers will be able to continue watching the broadcasts with a better quality image, without changing their existing satellite dishes and antenna angles in any way.' he said.
