'Fund' reaction from detained former vice president Fırat Durak

Detained former Adalar Deputy Mayor Fırat Durak reacted to the fact that no legal action was taken against AKP member Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was involved in the 'fund' profiteering.

Durak reacted to the fact that former Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya's earnings of 2 billion 200 million TL from the fund were not investigated, although the 900 TL withdrawn from her own bank account and the 53 thousand TL deposited by her brother into her own account were the subject of an investigation in the Adalar Municipality file, and said, "This is the tar-black justice of the AK Party."

Fırat Durak's statement shared on his social media account included the following:

“In the Adalar Municipality file where I was arrested, the judiciary and the former Minister of Family and Social Policies tried to link a lawyer's fee of 53 thousand TL, which was my brother's own professional income, which he deposited into his own account from an ATM with his own bank card, to bribery, and in the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress investigation file, they tried to link the 900 TL I withdrew from my own account to voting in exchange for benefits. This is the same judiciary that is not willing to carry out investigations against the profiteering of 200 million TL. This is the black order of the 'AK' Party.

"THEY JUST FOLLOWED THEIR SELF"

While we have been sent to prisons in dawn raids and been waiting for months for an indictment for crimes we did not commit, they have already become victims who only followed their own desires. While our bank accounts were being scrutinized by MASAK and the prosecutor's office and 900 TL was being sought and mind-boggling corruption stories were being uncovered, some AKP politicians pocketed the last savings of 456 thousand citizens. MASAK and the prosecutor's office did not stand idly by while all this was happening and billions of dollars were flying directly from the citizens' pockets into someone else's pockets, they chased the 900 TL that I withdrew from my own account. Not even an indictment has been written for a year and a half regarding my 900 TL in this investigation, in which I went from Istanbul to Ankara and gave a statement, and which was also used as a reason for the nullity decision. The total budget for 2026 of the Adalar Municipality (all expenses, including the salaries of approximately 220 personnel), in which we are accused of establishing an organization and which we allegedly caused damage to, is approximately one seventh of the figure obtained by the former Minister of Family and Social Policies. In other words, those who 'won' the seven-year budget of the Adalar Municipality with a single share transaction are in power, and we are in prison.
