Russia sent a note of protest to Japan in connection with the deployment of American Typhon ground-based systems on the island of Kyushu.

Moscow has warned that the deployment of the Typhon systems will not remain without consequences, as Russia does not believe Japan's promises to remove them after the exercises.

MOSCOW, September 28 - RIA Novosti. Russia does not believe Japan’s promises to remove Typhon systems after exercises with the United States and Australia, so Moscow warns that this will not remain without consequences, said Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Russia sent a note of protest to Japan in connection with the deployment on the island of Kyushu of American ground-based Typhon systems, designed to launch medium- and shorter-range missiles. The Russian Foreign Ministry also stated that a similar note of protest was sent to Japan and China.
