Uefs opens registrations for master’s and doctoral courses in 2027; see deadlines

The State University of Feira de Santana (Uefs) is accepting applications for selection processes for postgraduate programs starting in 2027. The opportunities are for master's and doctorate courses in different areas, such as Earth and Environmental Sciences, Territorial Planning, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nursing.

Registration deadlines vary depending on the program, and some selection processes close the application period this Tuesday (13). Check below the available vacancies, requirements and how to apply:

Modeling in Earth and Environmental Sciences

The Postgraduate Program in Modeling in Earth and Environmental Sciences (PPGM) offers 15 places for the master's degree and 15 for the doctorate. Registration is free and can be done until November 6th.

Candidates with a diploma or certificate of completion of a full-term higher education course, in different areas of training, can participate, as long as they have adherence to the areas of Environmental Sciences and Geotechnology.

The selection process will have four stages: analysis of the preliminary project; presentation of the preliminary project and interview; English language test for master's candidates and English and second language test for doctorate candidates; and analysis of the Lattes curriculum.

Registration must be completed via electronic form. The notice with the selection rules is also available for consultation.

Professional Master's Degree in Territorial Planning

The Postgraduate Program in Territorial Planning (Planterr) offers 20 places for the professional master's degree. Candidates with a full-time higher education diploma can participate.

The vacancies are distributed equally between two lines of research:

Urban-regional, Environmental and Traditional Community Planning: 10 vacancies;

Public Policies, Territorial Planning and Social Participation: 10 vacancies.

Registration is free and remains open until November 1st. Candidates must send the required documentation exclusively to the email [email protected].

Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPGCF) offers 18 places for the master's degree. Candidates with a diploma or certificate of completion of a full-term higher education course in the areas of Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and related areas can participate.

Registration is free and must be completed by October 22nd, by filling out an electronic form and sending the required documents.

The notice establishes reservation of vacancies for permanent university employees and for candidates belonging to historically excluded groups, in accordance with institutional rules.

Professional Master's Degree in Nursing

The Professional Master's in Nursing at Uefs is open for registration for the selection of new students, with admission scheduled for March 2027. The course is in-person and lasts 24 months.

The selection is aimed at candidates with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. Registration has been extended and can be completed until this Tuesday (13th), at 11:59 pm, according to the amendment to the notice.

Interested parties must complete the electronic registration form and send the required documentation, observing the selection process guidelines.
