Plan to terrorize the White House UFC event on Trump's birthday was discovered after the suspect's mother reported it.

A terrorist plan targeting the UFC Freedom 250, a mixed martial arts (UFC) tournament held at the White House on the 14th (local time), US President Donald Trump's birthday, was discovered following a report by the mother of a suspect. According to American media such as the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on the 16th (local time), the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was said to have already identified the terrorist plot on the 10th, four days before UFC Freedom 250 was held. The report by the mother of Tysen Propper (19), one of the five suspects indicted by prosecutors, was crucial here. According to the WSJ, Propper's mother said her son had been communicating online with a "former military and Christian-based" group whose members had expressed extreme religious tendencies and anti-government sentiments and complained about government corruption and the way the Jeffrey Epstein case was being handled. According to court records, he specifically stated that his son was purchasing weapons, researching and mapping the area northwest of Washington, D.C., and training his son. He also said that his son received additional photos and maps from other people through text messages and Discord, an instant messenger, and when asked what he was doing, he answered that he could not say exactly, but that he planned to carry out 'reconnaissance' and 'surprise and escape operations.' After receiving the report, investigative authorities searched Proper's home in Ohio on the 11th and found a large amount of used ammunition boxes, empty shell casings, and tactical clothing. Propper also admitted during the investigation conducted the same day that he had planned an organized attack during the UFC event. He is said to have specifically claimed that the goal of the attack was to spark a revolution. Through the investigation of Propper, investigative authorities confirmed the online IDs of other people involved in the plan and also discovered that they planned to fly a drone loaded with explosives over the White House, detonate it, and then open fire on evacuating spectators. Guns, ammunition, and tactical equipment were found at the Missouri home of Daniel Eskridge, who was designated as an accomplice. According to Mrs Eskridge's statement, he referred to himself as a recruiter for the group. Firearms were also found in the homes and vehicles of two other accomplices, Brian Omar Roa and Michael Allen Thomas. Thomas admitted to investigative authorities that he helped plan the terrorist attack and encouraged others to participate, while Roa is said to have denied involvement in the terrorist plot, although it is true that he tried to drive to Washington to protest the UFC match. President Trump was shot during a presidential election campaign last year and has been repeatedly threatened with personal safety, including being exposed to terrorism at the White House Correspondents' Banquet last April.
