Unitree's Historic IPO on Shanghai Stock Exchange

Humanoid robot technology has been developing rapidly in recent years. MARKET VALUE REACHED 50 BILLION DOLLARS

Unitree shares traded at 845 yuan ($125.3), 460 percent above its IPO price of 150.8 yuan (about $22.3). The stock, which rose up to 1,100 yuan ($163.1) in the daytime session, closed the day with a significant gain.

The company offered 40 million 450 thousand shares to the public. With this transaction, Unitree's market value increased to approximately 50 billion dollars.

REVENUE WILL BE INVESTED IN R&D

In the statement made by Unitree, it was stated that the income obtained from the public offering will be spent on research and development studies in the field of smart robot models and equipment and new product and manufacturing infrastructure development activities.

Founded in Hangzhou, China, in 2016, Unitree produces four-legged and humanoid robots, as well as main components such as motors, inductors, sensors and control mechanisms. The company, one of China's leading robot manufacturers, achieved a 32 percent share in the global market by producing more than 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025.

The company's revenues increased by 48.5 percent on an annual basis in the first half of 2026, reaching 1.15 billion yuan (about 170 million dollars).

Unitree's historic debut on the Shanghai Stock Exchange is not just a financial success; It is also a symbol of the rise of humanoid robots on the global technology stage.
