61-year-old man dies after attack with screwdriver in Udine

The victim of the screwdriver attack in Udine in via di Castions is a man, and not a woman as it initially seemed. The man, a 61-year-old of Moroccan origins, was attacked and hit in the head while he was returning home after doing the shopping. The attacker then fled on foot, losing his trail in the fields. Immediately rescued after the alarm raised by the neighbors, the 61-year-old died during transport to the hospital.

Sister threatened with death

According to what Il Messaggero Veneto reports, there could be family issues at the origin of the attack. The victim's sister reportedly told investigators that her ex, after deciding to end the relationship, had threatened her with death. According to the woman, her brother was then targeted to hit her.
