Two deputy mayors were detained within the scope of the investigation regarding construction permit and settlement allegations in Üsküdar Municipality.

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding allegations of irregularities in the building permit and settlement processes in Üsküdar Municipality, Deputy Mayors Amine Cansu Çelik and Mithat Özdemir were detained to be questioned. Mithat Özdemir, who was referred to the courthouse after his procedures at the police station, was released on condition of judicial control by the court. Other detained Deputy Mayor Amine Cansu Çelik, municipal license manager Burak Aydın and operator Erdem Koyunyerli were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. Three people, whose statements were completed at the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest.
