Venom frontman Conrad Lunt (Kronos) dies

The frontman of the famous British heavy metal band Venom, Conrad Lunt, known to many under the pseudonym Kronos, has passed away. The tragic news was reported on October 1 by the musician’s colleagues on the band’s Instagram page (owned by Meta, a company recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

“His music will never die. His voice will never disappear. And Venom's legacy will live on through the music he created and through the Legions who continue to carry that flame. Thank you, Conrad...” the post reads.

The cause of death of the 63-year-old musician has not been reported. There is also no information yet about the date and place of farewell.

Venom had a major influence on music, and their album Black Metal eventually gave its name to one of the most important subgenres of metal.
