Security guard found dead with signs of violence in Uberlândia cemetery

According to information from the PM, the team was called to support the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) inside the cemetery, where the man was found dead. Technical expertise went to the scene and confirmed that the death occurred violently.

The Civil Police reported that experts carried out technical surveys at the site to collect traces and that the body was sent to the Legal Medical Station (PML) for examinations. The case continues to be investigated.

In a note to g1, Uberlândia City Hall, responsible for the administration of Cemitério São Pedro, paid condolences to the server's family and stated that it is adopting the necessary measures to investigate the circumstances. See the Municipality’s position in full:

"The municipal secretariats of Urban Services and Integrated Security clarify that the teams contacted the medical service and the police authorities immediately and that they are adopting the necessary measures to assist in investigating the circumstances. They clarify that the server worked in the cemetery's property security and that, given the moment of loss, they offer their condolences to the family, who will receive all support and guidance."
