Vucic announced his resignation and said he would participate in the October 25 early election campaign

Vucic participated in a television program in Serbia and made statements about the agenda and the early general election to be held on October 25.

Stating that he will resign from the presidency on September 27, Vucic stated that he will address the public on the evening of this day and thank those who supported him.

"I BOUGHT A SMALL TRUCK"

Stating that he is the president who has been in office for the longest time after the transition to multi-party life in Serbia, Vucic said, "I could not have achieved this without the citizens of this country. The only thing I can say is that I served Serbia and the citizens of this country by fighting faithfully, hardworking and selflessly." he said.

Stating that he will participate in the early general election campaign to be held on October 25 as an ordinary citizen after his resignation, Vucic said: "I also bought a small truck, I have my own car. I also bought a caravan because I cannot sleep everywhere. I will go to the farthest villages, and if I stay up late, I will be there. There are many villages. There are thousands of villages that I have not been to yet. I also want to travel around the cities."
