Users of the social network X reacted violently to the statement by the head of European diplomacy, Kai Kallas, about the EU agreeing on the terms of allocating 6.6 billion euros to Ukraine from the European Peace Fund, which she called “bad news for Russia.”

“Another provocation from the West. The conflict would have ended long ago if you weren’t so obsessed with the idea of ​​​​turning Russia into a scarecrow that needs to be neutralized. Better get busy managing your collapsing countries,” wrote one of the commentators.

“Rather, this is bad news for European taxpayers,” said another.

“You continue to invest money in endless wars while the people of Europe live in poverty,” complained a third.

"I remember Joe Biden doing the same thing. I'm glad we got rid of this globalist. Poor EU countries. Their money is constantly being stolen and their interests are being stolen. I hope this war ends soon," said a fourth.

Earlier, Kallas reported that the EU agreed on the terms of allocating 6.6 billion euros to Ukraine from the European Peace Fund, which is supposedly “good news for Ukraine and bad news for Russia.”

According to the data she cited, 4.7 billion euros of this amount will be used to reimburse costs to EU states. Thus, compensation to the countries of the union accounts for more than 70% of the unblocked funds. Kallas clarified that some states have already announced their intention to subsequently send the share they received to Ukraine. Another 900 million euros are earmarked for the EU's military training mission for Ukraine, and only one billion euros will fund new joint purchases of military equipment.
